In the quaint & historic town of Vinings, Old Vinings Inn is steeped in fond memories and heritage. Our house has served many functions in its past – a post office, a general store, a filling station – and for the last 25 years we welcome you into our home celebrating life’s milestones or just simply an elegant, gracious, and tasteful Southern dining experience!
We serve classic Southern fare like our famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits plus amazing modern Southern cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients. We also offer smaller plates in our Attic Bar that features great, local live music Wednesday-Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon.

The Menu
The Southern fare menu features signature dishes created with seasonal and local ingredients. New dishes are added regularly to keep diners coming back to see what’s new. Old Vinings Inn also features an eclectic selection of popular and boutique wines and creative craft cocktails, offered at attractive prices.
The Attic Bar
The Attic Bar is truly unique setting on the second floor and has an outdoor private patio overlooking Vinings. The Attic Bar is the social gathering place for the vinings community. It offers a full service bar, the full restaurant food menu during dining hours, a special bar snack menu, and is also available to rent for private dining.
Live Music
Live music is performed in the Attic Bar every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night with single, duo, trio and band ensembles.
Private Dining
Old Vinings Inn offers a variety of private dining areas to meet our guest’s every need. We have five private rooms plus the patio and Attic Bar. Our private rooms can accommodate parties from 5 people to 75 people and the entire restaurant can be rented. Menu selection for group dining is easy since we can offer a variety of prix fixe menus and can create menus upon request.
