IN THE ATTIC BAR
ATLANTA’S MOST VENERABLE LOCAL ENTERTAINMENT VENUE
The Attic Bar features unique live entertainment featuring local music, performers, and more! The bar opens at 5 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and our full dinner menu is available there during those hours. Seating is limited, so reservations are suggested and walk-ins are accommodated when available.
Tickets are $5 per person and a credit card is required to reserve them. Credit cards are charged for reservations upon arrival or cancellations made the day of the event (walk-ins are charged upon admission).

Gwen Hughes Jazz

Gwen Hughes is an American jazz singer, songwriter and actress. Primarily based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, she has developed a fan base both regionally and abroad with her jazz-flavored ensembles, including "The Retro Jazz Kats," "The Continental Dance Orchestra," and the European-based "Mono".
Gwen has released six albums on Fairfield Records, starting with “Torch Life” in the 1990s up until her newest album, “Dancing in the Moonlight,” recorded with Mono, featuring the greatest hits of their ten years of touring Eastern Europe. Gwen recently signed with Zoho Music for the album, “Native Land,” a recording celebrated by JazzWeekly: “Gwen does it again!” Always a musical explorer, her latest singles fuse jazz with EDM and hip-hop: “I’d Know Your Voice Anywhere (Mark Alston Deep House Remix)” and “You Make Me Feel Like Candy” (BELOw Remix).”

Wes Yoakam

Wes began his professional music career in the fertile music ground of Athens, GA. He was the founder of “Catfish Jenkins” a rock/pop group that released their first cd “Normaltown”, (produced by Athens legend John Keane) through Birmingham, AL-based Kudzu Records.The band sold out the local 1000 seat Georgia Theater consistently and toured the country from Georgia to New York to Colorado to Michigan and back again. The band was included on the AWARE II compilation along with Hootie and the Blowfish, Edwin McCain, the Verve Pipe, and Vertical Horizon which garnered them national attention. Lead track “The Wishing Time”, received college and AAA airplay, and the band toured and performed with Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Samples, Blues Traveler, Cowboy Mouth, The Freddy Jones Band, Jupiter Coyote and many others at clubs, theaters, and big festivals like Atlanta’s Music Midtown, and Birmingham’s City Stages

Jeff Lewis & Misha Sefanuk
Saturday May 18th
Atlanta native, singer/actor Jeff Lewis brings a blend of pop, Broadway, and Great American Song Book to the Old Vinings Inn.
His eclectic biography includes playing the deputy who arrested the two yutes' in "My Cousin Vinny", as well as the title character in Seven Stages Theatre's original production of Mr. Universe", and playing linebacker (and thespian) at UGA. So, come enjoy this great music, and food and drink, at the Old Vinings inn.

Larry Fazzio
Thursday May 23rd
Larry V, a native of New Orleans, learned to play guitar at 13 and began public performances at age 15. He has won several talent contests and was voted most talented by students at his high school.
Some major highlights of Larry’s music career include playing nightly at the largest club in the New Orleans/Gulf Coast area at the age of 16. He also toured in concerts with BJ Thomas’ guitarist, was a regular guest on the Jim Owen’s WLOX television show, was a band leader in several successful bands playing to packed venues and for several years played with Grand Ole Opry musicians and Lefty Frizzell’s back up band.
Larry plays guitar, drums and harmonica. His playlist includes Billboard’s Top 40 Country and Folk Rock with a sprinkle of Blues.
Larry is passionate about music and people!

Hannah Murphy

A lover of folk, blues, and Jazz, Hannah Murphy hails from Albany, Georgia. Having made Atlanta her home she’s competed in and won various songwriting competitions including the Eddie’s Attic biannual shootout. A performer since 13, she enjoys paying homage to artists who inspire her like Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, and Fleetwood Mac.

Tim Porterfield
Saturday May 25th
Tim Porterfield has been surrounded by music for most of his 53 years on our planet. Born in Connecticut and a Marietta native since 1998, Tim has performed in solo, duo, band, theater, and improv troupe configurations for over 40 years. His main influences begin with the British Invasion of the sixties and carries through across geographies and decades to today. Tim spent the majority of his twenties performing across New England, and has travelled internationally to perform in Canada, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Amsterdam, Czech Republic, and Germany. Tim currently performs in two bands in the Atlanta area: Northside Trio, a classic rock covers band, and Keltic Kudzu, one of Atlanta’s favorite Celtic bands. He’ll perform cover songs of both familiar tunes AND deep cuts from a wide variety of artists and bands.

Rich Gunderlock

Originally a Pennsylvania native, Rich moved to Atlanta in 2001 and has established himself in the local scene (and subsequently discovered a love for country music as well). He manages The Retreat, one of the southeast’s most popular party bands, and performs regularly at venues throughout the Atlanta area, including past weekly residencies at the Ritz-Carlton and the Commerce Club. He has a knack for choosing and arranging the songs that you just want to sing along to, mashed up in unexpected ways, with saxophone solos that make him stand out among solo artists. Rich brings the energy and excitement of a full band into the package of a solo performer.

Leah is a Pop Country songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia whose authentic musical style crosses many different genres but is grounded in a unique blended sound seasoned with country, pop, rock, and folk influences. At once powerful and soulful, Leah’s vocals bring to life the emotion and energy of the thought-provoking lyrics and rich storytelling she delivers through compelling original songs and the songs of favorite artists. Believing music and artistic expression to be a true connection among individuals from different backgrounds, Leah strives to build lyrics that are honest and emotional around melodies that move the soul.
Leah’s musical inspirations range from Patsy Cline, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Kenny Loggins and Eva Cassidy to more contemporary artists like Brandi Carlile, Lauren Daigle, Lorde, and Tenille Townes. Happiest when sharing her music at live shows, Leah can be seen performing at local venues, festivals, municipal and private events around Georgia with her band members --Christian Schaffer (Lead Guitar), Corey Ahlquist (Drums) and Chris Hein (Bass). In the past year, they have also enjoyed opening for nationally touring artists Christopher Cross, Boz Scaggs, Jake Owen, Maggie Rose, and Jimmie Allen.
